When a Pennsylvania girl marries a Mississippi boy, the result is quite a party! This destination wedding, held at The Barn at Bridlewood, in Hattiesburg, MS, was just amazing. The couple, who resides in Texas, added many personal touches to remind them of their home states. From a Pittsburg cookie table to an elaborate Ole Miss groomscake, this wedding was truly unique! The couple had twenty-two attendants, along with many other friends and family, who traveled from near and far to celebrate with them on their big day. Faith asked me to photograph a special "first look" with her father. His reaction did not disappoint. They were both so emotional and happy. It was a wonderful moment to witness! To add a sentimental touch to her wedding attire, the bride wore her new mother-in-law's veil, which seemed to be a great honor for both of them. During their reception I had the opportunity to see the "Pennsylvania Money Dance," which was completely new for me! It seemed to be a combination of a traditional money dance, a second line, and a polka! Witnessing this show was a first for many of the southern guests in attendance! The bridal party donned New Orleans style Mardi Gras masks during their entrance to the reception to add a little NOLA flair to the evening. The groomsmen spent lots of time huddling around the Crown Royal Fountain, which was a huge hit! After an elegant dinner, guests and the bridal party danced the night away to a live band. They also enjoyed a few serenades from the bridal party! It was a celebration that won't soon be forgotten!
